Cranberry Sauce with Truffle Maple Syrup



1, 12-ounce bag fresh cranberries
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 strip orange zest
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon Sabatino Tartufi Truffle Maple Syrup


  1. Add all of the ingredients, except for the maple syrup into a large pot over medium heat. Stir occasionally, until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Continue cooking until the cranberries burst, about 10 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, stir in the truffle maple syrup, and set in fridge to thicken and cool, at least 2 hours.
